Zheng Kai and Vivi Mao announce marriage
22 May – Amid rumours that they are expecting a baby together. Zheng Kai and Vivi Mao surprised many recently by announcing that they have tied the knot.
As reported on Mingpao, the news was announced on 21 May at 1.14pm (or 13:14 pm, which is often used by couples in love to mean, "one lifetime"), with a photo of the couple that they captioned, "We are married!"
Vivi was also wearing a t-shirt with the word "Xi", which translates as double happiness, which many interpreted as the couple's way of announcing that they are having a baby as well.
Rumours of romance between the two sparked in July last year, when they were spotted together in Singapore. Pregnancy rumours surfaced in March, when Vivi was spotted at the hospital with the "Keep Running" star.
On the other hand, many celebrity friends took to social media to congratulate the couple, including Wong Cho Lam, who posted, "Congratulations, brother. I am really happy for you!"
