Zhao Lusi's camp responds to plastic surgery rumour
10 Sep - Zhao Lusi's team has recently denied speculations that the actress has undergone a cosmetic procedure.
Rumours of the actress going under the knife sparked recently, after photos of her attending a brand event looking almost too perfect went viral online.
In the photos, Zhao wore a black low-cut dress at the event to show off her beautiful back. However, some netizens thought that her cheeks were too apparent, her nose was particularly high, her skin was firm, and her face was almost flawless.
Some also noticed that her face seemed to be frozen when she smiled, and the topic of "whether Zhao Lusi had plastic surgery" had since sparked heated discussions.
Her stylist friend Ma Rui quickly jumped to her defence, saying, "First, she has lost some weight. Second, this is obviously a makeup problem. The lighting at the event also made it look different."
On the other hand, her studio had since released a statement saying that they have already collected some evidence and will take legal action against those who made false allegations towards the actress.
