Zhang Yishan denies rumours that he is ill

6 Sep - Chinese actor Zhang Yishan has recently denied reports that he may be suffering from some kind of disease.

As reported on Epoch Times, rumours of Zhang's illness sparked recently after he told a magazine that he has no plans to return for the second season of "Back to Youth".

The actor was reportedly saying that he prefers to do one thing at a time due to his "health issues" and that he has been "sick for a long time".

However, when asked about it recently, Zhang stated that he never said that he was severely ill and had no idea as to how his words were understood in such a way.

Zhang shared that he had no time to rest in the past, and that continuous work and irregular meal times has caused psychological stress. However, his health problem is not as dire as the media made it to be.

Zhang also assured that he is now taking good care of his health by eating more supplements, having his meal regularly, and taking up boxing.
