Zhang Wanyi and Jing Tian's chemistry shines in romance drama "Si Jin"
17 Mar - Jing Tian and Zhang Wanyi recently shared their enjoyable experience collaborating on the new costume romance drama, "Si Jin."
When discussing the project, Jing Tian expressed her enthusiasm for portraying Jiang Si, noting it was her first time taking on such a character.
"It's also my first time taking on this type of script, where I can use the methods of this life to resolve the many issues encountered in the previous one, ultimately achieving happiness. I think it's a very fulfilling story," she said.
Both actors spoke positively about their on-screen chemistry and expressed interest in future collaborations. "I would love to partner with her again, and we could try a different genre, something more modern, maybe where we can drink coffee together," Zhang Wanyi remarked.
"Si Jin," based on the novel of the same name, follows the story of Jiang Si (played by Jing Tian), who awakens 10 years before her death after dying at the hands of her lover Yu Jin (played by Zhang Wanyi).
In this second chance at life, Jiang Si breaks off her engagement, outsmarts her vicious aunt, and rewrites her tragic destiny, only to become entangled once again with her former lover.
