Zeera Azizi says "flying economy" remark could have been a misunderstanding

11 Apr - While many people agreed with Fasha Sandha after the actress expressed ire over an incident with a stewardess on her flight last week, Zeera Azizi has a different take on what had happened.

The actress, who was asked about the issue seeing that she was a stewardess herself in the past, said that it might be a case of a misunderstanding.

"To me, what the stewardess said was not good, but we don't know her real intention. It might be that she wanted to praise the artiste for flying economy but her intonation caused a misunderstanding," she said.

Zeera said that as a cabin crew, they would be trained to serve the passengers well and not to hurt their feelings.

"No stewardess is trained to hurt people's feelings. My advice is, before we speak, we have to mind our words and think if it will hurt others or not," she said.

Last week, Fasha took to social media to criticise a cabin crew who made what she deemed as a sarcastic remark about the fact that she was flying economy with her family.

"What's the issue if we fly economy? Whether it's economy or business class, we are all the same. No need to make any comments to passengers," she added.
