Every year, Yahoo Singapore looks at the most searched terms across our platforms for a finger on the pulse of the online community. From tech products to celebrities, the data don't lie when it comes to the most popular searches in Singapore.

What has changed from last year's Year In Review? Here is the 2023 list of Yahoo Singapore's most searched online travel portals.

10. Chan Brothers Travel

At number 10 is one of Singapore's largest travel agents and tour operators, Chan Brothers Travel. Boasting plenty of itineraries covering a wide range of destinations, you're bound to find a package, private tours, free-and-easy travelling, international and regional cruise lines, and more for your holiday needs.

9. Royal Caribbean Cruise

Based in Miami, Florida, Royal Caribbean is the largest cruise line by revenue and second-largest by passenger counts. With some of the largest cruise ships in circulation, and a myriad of entertainment options on board, it's one of the best cruises for families.

8. Expedia

Expedia is one of the earliest travel fare aggregators online since 1996. It's currently a one-stop travel site that allows you to search anything from flights to attractions, trawling through various sites to hunt down the cheapest prices across categories.

Recently, they've just released 2024 travel predictions based on data they have, and one of the interesting predictions highlighted was how travel to destinations inspired by popular TV series or movie scenes are gaining traction. Would you check out these three destinations based on their report?

Ever felt like it’s too troublesome to search individual websites for the best flight deal? This is where Skyscanner comes in, which consolidates the best rates available based on your requirements. Whether you need the cheapest or the fastest flight, Skyscanner is the Google of flight searches. It has also expanded its services to offer hotel search and car hire.

Skyscanner too, has revealed in their 2024 travel trends report that 10 out of 10 trending destinations for Singapore travellers in 2024 are in Asia. The biggest factors driving the choices for 2024 are: the food (75%), attractions (70%), and weather (66%).

It's further cemented the fact that Singaporeans do love Japan very much.

When it comes to the most popular activities to do on holiday, culture is high on the agenda, with shopping (58%), sampling local food (54%) and historical tours (46%) coming out on top.

Airasia may be better known as the Malaysian low-cost carrier. But it has undergone tremendous transformation over the years to offer more than just cheap flights. Now, you can even book hotels, transport and activities on its portal.

Trip.com Group is one to watch for, as it is currently the largest online travel agency in China, and from the looks of it, is aggressively expanding worldwide with great deals for travellers.
