Ye Ke quits social media amid various controversies
12 Nov - As netizens and tabloids alike continue to keep Ye Ke in the public's eye, the social media influencer recently announced that she is now going offline.
On 10 November, as another rumour sparked about her, Ye Ke, who has been in the news since she and Huang Xiaoming confirmed their romance, posted an apology to everybody, saying that false news about her and some of her past statements have occupied public resources for the past few months.
"In the past two months, rumours about sky-high child support and celebrity training classes on the Internet are not true. I implore the relevant media not to spread rumours. My ex-husband has done nothing wrong like cheating, and we are all doing well," she posted.
Ye Ke said that she has also reflected on herself these days and realised that she has lots of shortcomings.
"I was not a public figure before, and I will not be one in the future. I am an ordinary person and just want to return to a stable and quiet life," she added.
She then stated that due to the discomfort she felt over her being publicised and also due to family reasons, she has decided to quit the Internet.
"I apologise to everyone again, and hope that everything is well for everyone, safe and smooth!" Ye Ke added.
