Yao Yao keeps mum on breakup rumours
8 Jul – Taiwanese actress Guo Shu-yao (Yao Yao) has neither denied nor admitted rumours that she and Riley Wang have called it quits on their relationship.
As reported on Epoch Times, rumours of their breakup sparked last week, when a Chinese tabloid noted that the two of them have unfollowed each other on Instagram in June.
It was further fuelled by Yao Yao's recent online post, which read, "There is a limit to everything. Nothing can be together forever. There is nothing that can't be separated either. Only true love won't disappear."
Asked about it during an appearance at an event recently, Yao Yao only smiled and said that she would not respond to unconfirmed rumours.
"It's not what everyone thinks. I hope that everybody can give me some privacy. Thank you," she added.
As for her cryptic IG post, the actress said that she was only trying to write something different and meaningful on social media for a change.
Yao Yao and Riley admitted to their relationship last year after being caught kissing in a taxi. The two met on the set of Taiwanese series "Attention, Love!" in 2017.
