Xue Zhiqian prone to depression?
6 Mar - Singer Xue Zhiqian (also known as Joker Xue) was revealed to be vulnerable towards depression after a comprehensive examination on his variety show, "Awesome Challenge".
According to Epoch Times, in the latest episode of the programme, the team had to undergo a physical and mental health examination, where Xue was then labelled by the psychiatrist as the kind of person who struggles from loneliness.
After the show, Xue admitted that he has the risk of getting into depression.
"I never thought that I have a healthy mental state. Or else, I wouldn't have been able to write these love songs, or be depressed," he said.
However, the singer stressed that he has no need for treatment for now.
"I think if I need any help one day, I will go and seek treatment from the doctor on my own," he said confidently.
