Xiu Jie-Kai not perturbed by wife's closeness to Wu Jing
15 Jun – Xiu Jie-Kai recently assured that he is not at all perturbed by the friendship between wife Alyssa Chia and mainland star Wu Jing.
As reported on NetEase, earlier this week, several photos of Wu and Alyssa went viral, as the two met at an event and held hands while talking to one another.
The two also willingly posed for the cameras, and continued to chat enthusiastically afterwards.
The closeness got fans of "Xiaoli Feidao" excited, as both celebs were the stars of the martial arts drama back in 1999. In the drama, Wu Jing plays the swordsman A Fei, while Alyssa plays his love interest Sun Xiaohong.
The two had since gone on to have successful careers. Wu became mainland's billion-dollar man, while Alyssa went on to win awards left and right for her acting performances.
When asked about the close friendship between the two, as well as the photos of them holding hands, Xiu, who is Alyssa's husband of eight years, expressed, "It's nothing. It's just a conversation between two friends who haven't seen each other in a long time."
