Xiao Zhan to star in "The Legend of Hidden Sea"
4 Jan – Xiao Zhan continues to work with one great director after another, as it was revealed that he has been cast in the upcoming series, "Zang Hai Zhuan" (aka "The Legend of Hidden Sea").
The actor recently appeared at the launching ceremony of the new drama, which was held on 30 December, where it was revealed that Zheng Xiaolong will be one of the directors aside from Cao Yiwen.
It is noted that Zheng is most known for the hit 2011 costume drama, "The Legend of Zhen Huan".
Prior to Zheng, Xiao previously worked with the renowned Hong Kong filmmaker Tsui Hark in the new movie, "The Legend of Condor Heroes".
In the new drama, the actor plays the role of Wang Zanghai, who, after experiencing the destruction of his family during his young age, decides to rise up in the ranks in the imperial court in his effort to seek vengeance against those who wronged him.
The series also co-stars Zhang Jingyi, Zhou Qi, Huang Jue, Yu Nan, and Qiao Zhenyu among others.
