XG announces first prerelease song for 26 July

16 Jul - Following the success of "Woke Up", South Korea-based Japanese girl group XG announced that they will be releasing a new song soon.

The news was announced via the group's official social media account, stating, "The 1st prerelease song from XG's 2nd Mini Album is confirmed for Fri, July 26th!"

The song is revealed to be "Something Ain't Right", produced by JAKOPS.

The group, formed by Xgalx, consists of Jurin, Chisa, Hinata, Juria, Cocona, Maya, and Harvey. Although they made their debut in 2022, it was their latest song, "Woke Up" that found new global fans after it went viral on TikTok.

Meanwhile, the second mini album is set to be released in late 2024.
