Wu Yi-han is the youngest Golden Bell Awards nominee

2 Sep – 13-year-old Wu Yi-han was elated to find that she has been nominated in the upcoming Golden Bell Awards - the youngest nominee in her category and the first time ever for the said actress.

As reported on Epoch Times, the actress who was nominated in the Best Leading Actress in Mini-Series category for her series, "The Making of an Ordinary Woman", stated that she was very surprised and happy to have been shortlisted and is looking forward to the event, which will be held on 26 September.

"My mum kept screaming after hearing that I was shortlisted. She even jumped from the floor to the sofa to hug me. Dad also sent me five different emojis showing various expressions," she said.

Wu also took to social media to express her feelings about her nomination, writing, "Very touched! Very excited! Very pleasantly surprised! It cannot be expressed in words! Thank you for your affirmation and seeing my performance! Thank you "The Making of an Ordinary Woman" for making my dream come true and moving forward towards the dream of my birthday wish every year! Thank you reporters, friends, fans, private messages and phone calls! Thank you."

The other actresses nominated in the category include Yogurt Lee ("The Rootless"), and Wu's fellow co-star, Hsieh Ying-Hsuan.
