Wong Cho Lam pays tribute to late father on Qingming Festival

12 Apr – Wong Cho Lam recently shared a wonderful tribute to his late father through a self-made video of him and Wong's baby daughter Gabrielle.

As reported on Mingpao, the video was posted on social media on Qingming Festival - an important traditional Chinese holiday where people offer sacrifices to their ancestors and sweep the tombs of the deceased.

The video, which he captioned, "I thought of you when I think of her, I saw you when I see her", features various photos of baby Gabrielle interspersed with old photos of Wong's late father.

Wong's old song "Reenactment" was also playing in the background, but with new lyrics expressing how much he misses his father, including lines like, "Though you're not by her side, she has your beautiful eyes", and "We can no longer see your handsome face, yet your beauty lives on in her."

In an old interview, Wong revealed that his father passed in 2016 from cancer.
