Wong Cho Lam admits feeling overwhelmed
26 Oct - Although his stars are singing praises of his management skills, Wong Cho Lam admitted that it is a bit stressful trying to take care of his company's 20 artistes, especially when he actually started the company to manage his and wife Leanne Li's work.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who sat down for an interview recently, shared that he did regret his decision of saying yes to managing all the other artistes joining his company, Tailor Made Productions, since he wasn't able to give them the best opportunity there is.
"Honestly, I can admit that the first half of the year hasn't been really great. I wasn't able to find them a lot of jobs because we were just beginning to adapt," he said.
Wong also added that the biggest problem is to balance his own television work and his artistes' own projects, which is why he decided to employ a lot more staff to assist with the day-to-day operation.
"I have turned down all invitations to do variety shows this coming December. I will be shooting a fashion comedy, and will star Kate Tsui in the lead. I will not be playing the leading man, but I hope to be able to help her," he said.
