Winki Lai announces first pregnancy
12 Jul - TVB actress Winki Lai recently surprised many by announcing that she is pregnant with her first child.
As reported on Mingpao, the "Never Dance Alone" actress shared the news on Instagram earlier this week, saying, "The biggest birthday gift is I now have a life inside of me. In addition to being an actress, I have always dreamed of being a mother."
Winki revealed that she is currently five months pregnant and is looking forward to the birth of the baby.
Winki is currently dating stage actor Leung Zi Fung. The couple has been together for the past five years.
Friends who heard the news rushed to congratulate the actress.
"Never Dance Alone" co-star Anjaylia Chan wrote, "I am really happy and touched! I remember when we were shooting "Never Dance Alone", and you told us your greatest dream is to become a mother. Finally, your happiness is here!"
Snow Suen, who is also currently pregnant with her first baby, congratulated Winki, saying, "I am really happy for you. I never expected that we would be mothers together."
