William Wei has left Linfair Records
4 Sep – Taiwanese singer-wongwriter William Wei recently announced that he has left his record label, Linfair Records.
As reported on Epoch Times, the singer announced his departure on 1 September, writing, "A dazzling ten years, from a college student to the present year, Linfair Records has always been my second home."
"When I was still a student, I would ride my bicycle from the school all the way to the studio, working in the studio till midnight in my slacks and slippers, sleeping on the sofa to get some rest. It is still vivid in my mind. I am glad that my early 20s was spent in Linfair, I learned a lot in the shelter of the Linfair family, that I will never be able to repay in this life.
"However at the age of 31, I realised in my heart that the cooperation has to come to an end. One should also move their life to the next stage," he added.
William also thanked Linfair Records for being there for him throughout the years, but that he will have to continue on the road on his own and hopefully he will be better when they meet again in the future.
On the other hand, Linfair Records revealed that the two parties still have several projects together and will continue to establish cooperation for now.
