Where to eat: Chef Wan's Kitchen

Malaysian celebrity chef, Chef Wan, is back in Singapore with a new a-la-carte restaurant offering a variety of dishes inspired by Portuguese, Moroccan, Spanish, Javanese and Peranakan cuisines.

Located on the second floor of the Esplanade, Theatres by the Bay, this is Chef Wan's latest foray into the Singaporean dining scene after a buffet restaurant named after him was shut last year.

In 2016, 1 Market by Chef Wan closed after operating for over three years. The restaurant was also owned by Food Junction Management.

Chef Wan returns with new business partners, offering some of his favourite dishes at Chef Wan's Kitchen. Some of which include Bibik Neo's Laksa, a dish by his grandmother, and Cik Aini's Mee Rebus with Prawn Fritters, a dish his mother had cooked for 31 years as a means to raise her children.

The dishes at Chef Wan's Kitchen are cooked with premium and fresh ingredients and with affordable price tags.
