31 Jul – Now that he has started filming his first mainland drama, Wayne Lai admitted that he now understands the difference between working with TVB and a Chinese production.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor who attended a fundraising event for Yan Chai Hospital in Tsuen Wan recently, revealed that he realised that the filming time in mainland China is more stable than in Hong Kong after working for a few days on a mainland production.

"It only takes 12 to 14 hours a day to shoot, and they have enough manpower, so it moves faster than TVB," he said.

However, the actor said that he will soon return to film a new drama with TVB, which will revolve around fashion, as well as making an appearance on Edwin Siu's show, "Cooking Beauties".

On the other hand, when mentioned that Jason Chan is leaving the company, Wayne said that there is no issue with the actor's departure.

"You can still work with TVB but in a different form of cooperation," he said.
