Wanna Ali is now married to former Malaysian IGP's son

12 Feb - A week after announcing her engagement, Wanna Ali recently revealed that she is now officially married to husband, Amri Khalid.

Sharing the good news on 10 February with photos from the wedding, she posted, "Alhamdulillah, with just one aqad, I'm officially Mrs Amri. Entirely and eternally for you, [my husband]."

The nikah ceremony was held on 9 February in Petaling Jaya.

Speaking to the media about the wedding, Wanna said that she was so relieved that the moment she had been waiting for for so long finally went well.

"All the sacrifices, journeys and efforts we have made until today have gone well, praise be to God," she said.

Wanna announced her engagement to Amri Khalid, the son of former Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar back on 2 February.
