Wang Feng moved by Zhang Ziyi's relationship with daughter

25 Feb – Chinese rocker Wang Feng recently admitted that wife Zhang Ziyi was just a good mother, which is why his eldest daughter Apple could easily warm up to her.

As reported on Epoch Times, the singer, who appeared on the Chinese reality show, "Viva La Romance 2" alongside Zhang, shared his thoughts about the relationship between his wife and his daughter following Zhang's confession that Apple never rejected her from the first day they met.

"The first time I brought Apple to meet Ziyi, I asked my daughter to tell me if she is uncomfortable. But she said [there was no problem]," he said.

Wang admitted that Apple even happily called Zhang "Mama".

"She made Apple feel the warmth of a mother in many ways. It is something irreplaceable, and it is what my daughter needed the most," he said.

Wang said that the relationship between Zhang and Apple made him realise that sometimes companionship is even more important than blood relations.

Apple is Wang's daughter with former girlfriend and model Ge Huijie.
