At one point or another, every kid stands in the cereal aisle begging their parents for Cookie Crisp. It's a bowl of mini chocolate chip cookies disguised as cereal - of course they want it! While it's fair to not want your kid hopped up on sugar, a perk of being an adult is getting to buy cookies, or cookie cereal, or both, any time you want. And in a week, two new varieties will be at your disposal.

Post, which produces cereals like Honey Bunches of Oats and Raisin Bran, is releasing two new cereals this month inspired by classic cookies - Nutter Butter and Chips Ahoy. The cereals both look like mini versions of the regular cookies, and will be sold exclusively at Walmart for a limited time.

Like Cookie Crisp, Oreo-O's, and Girl Scout Cookie cereal before it, these "cereals" are basically just a repurposing of the OG cookie, meant to be eaten in a bowl of milk. It's basically the lazy way to eat cookies dunked in milk, and we're honestly surprised more aren't sold this way.

Nutrition-wise, the cereals are pretty on par with their cookie counterparts. A 1-cup serving of Chips Ahoy cereal has 120 calories and 11 grams of sugar, while a 1-ounce bag of Chips Ahoy Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies has 140 calories and 8 grams of sugar. The Nutter Butter cereal has 150 calories and 13 grams of sugar per serving, while a pack of Nutter Butter Bites has 140 calories and 9 grams of sugar.

The cereals are available online and in Walmart stores beginning Dec. 26. They'll be sold through April 1, 2018 at a retail price of $3.98 per 19-ounce box.
