Victoria and David Beckham just recreated their *iconic* wedding fashion moment 25 years on

As a collective, the nation knows that Victoria and David Beckham's 1999 wedding is a pillar of British pop culture hurrstory. But just in case one forgot, the couple has recreated the day's most talked-about moment for all of us to reminisce on... enter: 50 shades of purple.

In celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary, Posh and Becks (as they will forever be known) took to social media wearing their iconic matching, deep purple wedding outfits. Victoria wears her original rosette-covered shoulder strapped purple gown while David coordinates with his purple-coloured suit – velvet shoes 'n' all.

“Look what we found… 😅💜,” the pair wrote to caption their joint Instagram post.

But that's not all because the two followed up with a second carousel post featuring three more pictures. “Yep, still got it! 🤣 Can’t believe it’s been 25 years and they still fit! 💜💍 We love you so much @BrooklynPeltzBeckham @RomeoBeckham @CruzBeckham #HarperSeven xxxx.”

The 'fits! The thrones! The smiles! That very royal hue of purple! VB and DB are simply #CoupleGoals.

The respected designer and Spice Girls singer and football star legally wed on July 4, 1999, in Luttrellstown Castle, Ireland. As expected, the wedding was a lavish affair yet still surprisingly intimate, with only 29 guests in attendance. Shocking, much?

The guest list included Victoria's bandmates Mel B, Mel C, and Emma Bunton (but not Geri Halliwell).

They then went on to welcome four children, Brooklyn, who is now 25 years old, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19 and Harper Seven, 12. And we guess the rest is history! Happy anni to the icons of the 90s!
