Victoria Beckham turns 50 and stuns in *super* subtle see-through gown
It was a big week for Victoria Beckham who rang in her 50th birthday on 17 April. After taking the opportunity to reflect and revisit her 30+ Vogue covers over the years, the pop star turned fashion designer kept the birthday celebrations going over the weekend with a huge party for her famous friends and family.
When we say the guest list was exclusively A-List, we're talking Eva Longoria, Salma Hayek, Charlotte Tilbury, Tom Cruise – plus Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell Horner for a full Spice Girls reunion. You know there was obvs an impromptu performance complete with full dance routine. All we can say is thank you David for documenting the moment.
But more important (yes, really – this is the Cosmo fashion desk after all) was what Victoria chose to wear for the party. Namely, a stunning *super* subtle see-through gown from her own eponymous label.
The dress in question is a pale blue colour and features an asymmetric high neckline with one sleeve. With gathering at one hip, the dress is adorned with ruffles at the waist and shoulder. Victoria layered the fancy frock over a red bra and high waist knickers, just as she styled it for her spring summer 2024 collection.
Victoria took to Instagram to share photos alongside all four of the couple's children ahead of the evening's festivities. Unfortunately, Brooklyn's wife Nicola Peltz Beckham was absent from both the photoshoot and party, but she did have a connection to Victoria's dress. Ahead of the designer's Paris Fashion Week show, she shared a mirror selfie with her daughter-in-law in which Nicola modelled the exact same dress Victoria then wore to her party.
Victoria made sure to share plenty of pics from the night, posing alongside all her besties while capturing her 'fit from every angle.
All that's left to say is, happy birthday, VB!
