Vice Ganda proud of sister's work on the frontline against COVID-19

27 Apr – Vice Ganda recently took to social media to express how proud he is of his sister, who is one of the doctors on the frontline in the fight against COVID-19.

On 25 April, the TV personality took to social media to share a photo of sister Dra. Maria Cristina B. Viceral on the job, working at a site marked "COVID AREA", and wrote, "I have always been proud of you. But now I am so proud of you I could cry. Every day I fear for you. But every day I'm more proud of you."

Ganda stated that he had seen how much sacrifice his sister has made since the day she studied Medicine to become a doctor.

"You said the reason you want to be a doctor is because you just want to take care of my throat and voice. But now it's the world you care about. How great! Long live! May God guide you!" he added.

It was only last week that the comedian was blasted after blaming the extension of the enhanced community quarantine on "stubborn Pinoys" who refused to stay home, with many saying that a wealthy man like him would not understand the plight of the poor.
