Viann Zhang harassed by male fans at home
29 Jun - Chinese actress Viann Zhang recently shared a scary experience that happened in her own home, adding fuel to the issues of celebrities' privacy breach sparked by idol singer Luhan's case recently.
As reported on Epoch Times, on 26 June, Viann took to social media and revealed that several male fans knocked on her door and yelled her name.
"I am still in a state of insomnia since that night. I don't know how they got my home address, but some men claiming to be my fans knocked on my door. When I didn't open, they began to get angry and yell terrible things at me," said Viann.
The actress revealed that she later contacted her family, and by the time they came, all the men were gone.
"Now I'm afraid to come out. I was also worried about my family's safety. I hope if the perpetrators are reading this, please do not do that again. Do you have to violate my private life?"
Other stars have also experienced similar behaviour from obsessed fans. TFBOYS' Wang Yuan revealed that fans would follow him around at school and that he would sometime climb a dozen floors back to his home to avoid them.
Meanwhile, actress Crystal Liu recently made headlines when a male fan suddenly threw himself towards her on stage while she was promoting her new movie. The actress received only minor physical injuries, but was revealed to have been traumatised by the incident.
