VE's Zaf denies he forced the four members to leave the group

12 Dec – VE's leader Zaf is denying the allegations made by recently departed members Cham, Adeep Nahar, Hakim and Fakhiz regarding their decision to leave the group.

The singer, real name Zafri Nazaruddin, stated that what the four shared with the media and the public earlier were slanderous towards him, and has affected his reputation.

"Previously, I suggested to them that they make their way into the music industry with a new name," he said.

Zaf stated that he had followed their performance on the previous competition, "Gegar Vaganza" for 11 weeks, and realised that the four singers have their own concept, ideas, and way of performing.

"So, I thought that it would be more appropriate that they form a new group. It has nothing to do with whether or not they are worthy of being in VE," he said.

Zaf added that VE (or Voices Of Euphonious) can remain as they are, while the four members can be an even better group in their own way.

"I am thankful that they had been with VE since 2020. I hope to see them as a great group following the show," he added.

In the previous interview, the four singers announced that they are leaving VE to establish themselves as something outside of the R&B group following Zaf's statement about them.
