TYT re-enters showbiz with seven members

27 Aug – Typhoon Teens (stylised TYT) has recently re-entered the music industry with seven members and possibly a new name.

As reported on Sina, the group's agency TF Entertainment announced that it has added three new members, He Junlin, Zhang Zhenyuan, and Yan Haoxing, to TYT while former member Yao Jingyuan will no longer be a part of the group.

The idol group made its debut back in October last year with five members: Yao Jingyuan, Ding Chengxin, Ma Jiaqi, Song Yaxuan, and Liu Yaowen.

Back in June this year, the company announced that TYT will be regrouped with several trainees competing for a spot through a reality show called "Typhoon Project".

In the end, four of the five members remain in the newly established group.

It is noted that TF Entertainment is also the same agency that introduced the widely popular trio, TFBoys – consisting of Karry Wang, Roy Wang, and Jackson Yee.
