TVB denies rumours of Gordon Lam joining management
10 Oct - TVB has recently denied ongoing rumours that Gordon Lam will be making his TVB comeback.
As an executive, that is.
Earlier, it was reported that Gordon was seen meeting with executives in TVB City, where he allegedly discussed about serving as a senior executive in the production department.
Sources stated that TVB hopes to use Gordon's experience in improving productions, and that the actor will be producing Hong Kong dramas. He also reportedly has already recruited talents from the film industry.
Regarding the rumour of his appointment, TVB's Corporate Communications Department denied this, saying, "The company has not heard of such rumours."
It is noted that Gordon was originally a TVB actor, having graduated from TVB's 15th Artist Training Class in 1988. He had since become a renowned movie actor, winning awards left and right including the Variety Star Asia Award at the 20th New York Asian Film Festival.
