Tracy Moore is challenging the perceptions of body weight.

On Friday, the "Cityline" host shared an Instagram Reel from a recent episode where she, along with four other women, revealed their weight on national television. The segment aimed to demonstrate how the same weight appears on different body types.

Moore, known for her willingness to engage in candid discussions, took a step further in addressing weight stigma.

"That time I revealed my weight on national TV," Moore penned in the on-screen text before reflecting on her bold on-air moments. She admitted that despite previously removing her makeup and clothes on the air before, revealing her weight felt different due to ingrained societal fatphobia.

"This was a hard one! Usually, I'm down for whatever, especially if it's going to help us meet women where they're at. But my weight ... I don't know if I'm good with this one," Moore confessed.

She noted the pervasive nature of fatphobia and the irrational emphasis society places on numbers. "Everyone can see my body every day, what difference does the number make?," she questioned. "It would be a radical act if we could just love ourselves and then maybe we can go ahead and start healing the people around us," she added. Moore revealed she and the other women in the segment all weighed 185 pounds (84 kilograms).

Moore continued her powerful message in her caption, writing, "So now you know my weight. Does it change the way you feel about me? ... I'll always try and meet you where you're at, even at the expense of my own vulnerability. Because I guess if we have any hope of changing the world we should probably start with ourselves."

Fans praised Moore for her courage and authenticity in the comments.

"Such an important conversation really makes you think," Canadian TV personality Cheryl Hickey wrote.

"You're brave and real af for this. Normalize normal bodies. The number on the scale is meaningless. Throw the whole thing away," one fan commented.

"I’m so proud of you," another added. "Thank you for this segment."

"This is incredible and so are you," a commenter shared.

Back in May, Moore shared another candid, body-positive post, declaring that she had no plans of giving up two-piece swimsuits.

In the sun-soaked Instagram Reel, Moore showed off a variety of vibrant swimsuits she wore while vacationing in Jamaica.

"Just living my best life barely clothed," she penned. "Catch me at 90 and trust, I’ll still be rocking a two-piece."
