Tracy Chu not pressured to have a baby
14 Oct – Tracy Chu is not at all pressured to have a child, despite good friend Jennifer Shum already welcoming her first baby not a year into her marriage.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at a brand event recently, was asked about Jennifer's first baby and said that she has yet to go and visit due to the pandemic, though she did celebrate the actress' recent birthday.
"I haven't seen the baby until now. I can just look at the photos. I will give the baby his gift later when I finally see him," she said.
When asked if she has any desire to have her own child after seeing her best friend with one, Tracy laughed and said that even Jennifer urged her to do the same.
"She wants me to have a baby quickly so that our kids can play together. But for now, I really have to fix a schedule with my husband. Both of us have been too busy," she said.
Asked if she is not worried, Tracy said that she will just go with the flow.
"Right now, I am enjoying my married life. I've only been married for two years, and our families are not pushing us, so there is no pressure," she said.
It was last month that Jennifer announced that she has given birth to her first son, Preston, saying that her baby was born two weeks earlier than expected.
