New in town: KEBUKE – SG-exclusive quenchers from Taiwan’s largest bubble tea chain!

Thirsty? I have a solution for you. Regarded as one of Taiwan’s largest bubble tea chains with over 280 stores domestically, the famous KEBUKE has officially arrived at Taste Orchard. Guess what, the newly launched Singapore outlet is its second international branch after its first in Hong Kong!

Originating from Taichung’s Xiang Shang Market, this Taiwanese household name has been concocting fresh brews made with “warmth and kindness” since 2008.

As seen from their sprawling ‘tea wall’ and wooden furniture, KEBUKE’s rustic facade is a modern nod to a traditional Chinese teahouse. Good news to those on the constant hunt for work-friendly spaces — the airy café has charging ports and ample seats.

Sooo what’s brewing? Expect a variety of thirst-quenching bubble teas that are exclusive to Singapore.

Lined with buttery Lotus Biscoff spread, the Biscoff Black Tea Latte (S$5.60) is specially made for the local palate. With earthy notes of Sri Lankan Black Tea, this decadent and aromatic latte is one of our favourites. To ensure that the desired flavours are seamlessly melded together, remember to shake or stir your cup!

This is the definition of simple goodness. The Rice Oolong Tea (S$3.20/ S$4.20) features a medley of roasted rice and Top-Grade Oolong Tea. Coming with floral undertones, this tea is described as reminiscent of childlike charm.

Meet its similar counterpart, the Rice Oolong Milk Tea (S$4.70/ S$5.40) too. Satisfyingly smooth, the addition of creamy milk adds a sweet touch to the otherwise malty drink.

Of course, the Special Proton Fruit Tea Series (from S$5.80) deserves the spotlight. To slow down dilution due to melting ice, the series is created using their unique Proton Freezing technique, where they freeze seasonal fruits to act as ice cubes.

Before serving, the tea is mixed into the fruit cubes, which yields a slushie-like texture that is downright refreshing. The series comprises of 4 different flavours, such as the Milk Latte with Proton Mango (S$6.30/ S$6.90).

Do not miss KEBUKE’s signature teas as well! This includes their Signature Black Tea (S$3.20/ S$4.20) and the crowd favourite Brown Sugar Pearl Black Tea Latte (S$5.70/ S$6.40). Perfect for the sweet-toothed, the latter has addictive brown sugar-flavoured pearls with a chewy bite.

BTW, the “from S$2.90” drinks are the classic Peach Flavour Black Tea (S$2.90/ S$3.90) and Jasmine Green Tea (S$2.90/ S$3.90). OHH I also almost forgot to mention that ALL Additional Toppings are priced at S$1 (think Agar Pearl, Coconut Jelly and more). How to find?!

The brewing does not end here anyway. Be sure to catch a slew of Opening Promotions coming your way.
