New in town: Daily Beer – Largest Korean craft beer & fried chicken chain opens first SG outlet
If you are looking for a new fried chicken spot, this could be your answer. Daily Beer, Korea’s largest craft beer and fried chicken chain is opening its first international outlet at Telok Ayer, just opposite Amoy Street Food Centre.
Founded in 2014 and now with over 370 outlets in South Korea, Daily Beer has solidified its reputation as the go-to spot for quality craft beer and mouthwatering fried chicken.
Popular among the younger crowds in Seoul, Daily Beer has garnered a dedicated following that includes South Korean celebrities like the cast of Running Man, EXO’s Xiumin and Our Beloved Summer’s actor Kim Da Mi.
Highlighting its “No Beer No Work” philosophy, the famed chain can be recognised from its iconic “生活” (life) cups and vibrant store ambience.
Over the years, Daily Beer has partnered with over 50 small-batch Korean breweries to craft beers that capture the essence of Korean flavours and traditions. For example, it released a limited edition India Pale Ale (IPA) that is brewed with wild yeast harvested from Mount Namsan last year.
You can expect 7 Singapore-exclusive craft beers at its Telok Ayer branch.
These include the aptly named Telok Pale Ale (S$14) and Telok Hazy IPA (S$15), as well as the caramel malty K-Festbier (S$12) and the crispy clean Kampong Pilsner (S$14) that are perfect for savoury appetisers. We can look forward to their range of beers designed to will suit every palate and occasion!
No visit to Daily Beer is complete without trying their crowd-favourite Korean fried chicken. Achieved by double-frying, their chicken is renowned for its crunchy exterior and juicy flesh. Sharing the same name with a beloved red video game character, their Angry Bird Fried Chicken range is a no-miss.
The signature Original Angry Bird is served as Wings (S$27.90), Boneless (S$28.90) and 8 Whole Pieces (S$30.90). They offer a variety of additional flavours as Wings (S$29.90), Boneless (S$30.90) and 16 Whole Pieces (S$33.90), too.
Feel the heat with Angry Bird Red that is drenched in spicy, dark red sauce or Angry Bird Kimchi that has a subdued spice due to its tangy kimchi seasoning. For my fellow non-spice friends, Angry Bird Black is salty-sweet with garlic soy sauce while Angry Bird Crunch is spicy-sweet with garlic seasoning.
Furthermore, Daily Beer serves authentic Korean classics like tteokbokki and golbaengi noodles.
Opening promotion! Limited to 1 redemption per customer, the first 30 customers who visit Daily Beer after 5pm will receive a free 200ml Beer Sampler from now till 30 Apr.
Say cheers to good beer and great food at Daily Beer!
