It’s also fascinating to note that the D’Tomato Street is helmed by former DOME chef, Syed Izwar— so you know the food will not dissapoint! Penangites will be delighted to learn that the owner cooks up an assortment of mouth-watering Malay dishes to pair along with the Nasi Tomato (RM2.50). For those of you who are unfamiliar with what nasi tomato is, it is a type of rice often served at weddings and has a sweet, tart-like taste.

But don’t miss out on their Ayam Goreng Berempah (RM4.50) which is the highlight of the menu. It’s crispy, juicy and pairs so well with the nasi tomato.
