Tony Yang finally holds wedding reception
2 Aug – Nearly two years after announcing his marriage to girlfriend Melinda Wang, Tony Yang is elated to finally able to hold their wedding reception.
The Taiwanese actor and his wife celebrated their love on 31 July with a 45-table banquet held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, with guests that include celebrity friends like Ruby Lin, Joseph Chang, Chang Chen, Shawn Yue, and Janine Chang.
As Tony is a devout Christian, a church ceremony was held before the reception, with the couple's one-year-old daughter Anah playing the role of the flower girl.
Speaking to the media about Melinda, he said, "I wanted to be surprised, so I deliberately did not check her out in her wedding dress before the ceremony. It was the first time I saw it when she walked down the aisle with her father."
"I was very surprised and moved at the time," he added with a laugh.
On the other hand, Tony admitted that he would like to have as many children as possible with Melinda, as he is very fond of kids.
Tony and Melinda announced that they have registered their marriage back on 9 September 2020 with a wedding photoshoot that he captioned "9.9". The news came after they announced that they are welcoming their first child in May the same year.
