Tony Leung stars in Juno Mak's "Sons of the Neon Night"

30 Aug - Hong Kong actor Tony Leung Kar Fai recently revealed that he has started filming the highly-anticipated movie, "Sons of the Neon Night".

As reported on Wenweipo, the actor, who appeared at a launch of an auto-care store with his family recently, shared that he is happy to be able to participate in the new movie, which is also the second directorial project by Juno Mak, who previously won many praises for his stylised horror, "Rigor Mortis".

"I am just delighted to work with a younger director, and give this type of production my support. I do think that film production is no longer a simple matter like it was in the past," he said.

Although Tony shared no details about his role in the movie, he revealed that his character is disfigured and will "destroy everybody from the beginning to the end".

According to a previous interview, Juno revealed that his sophomore directorial effort will focus on the struggle between the anti-narcotics force and the drug trafficking world.
