Tiong Bahru Bakery opens its doors in Siglap – Enjoy your favourite croissants & milkshakes in its East debut

What better way to celebrate a 10th anniversary than to open up a 10th location? Tiong Bahru Bakery is on a roll with now setting up shop in the tranquil territory of Siglap. The east is now gifted with the chance to indulge in their famous baked goods and coffee, and you also get to dig into French treats and new, exclusive menu items.

Nestled within the crevices of an apartment building, it’s a spot for all those seeking some peace and quiet. Calm your frazzled nerves, lounge within the cafe’s all-glass structure and let the natural light warm things up for you. Known for their artisanal French bakes, the regular crowd favourites are now available for East-siders to enjoy. This includes goodies like the Kouign Amann (S$5.5), their award-winning Croissant (S$4) and a whole lot more.

Another exciting bit of news is their introduction of Siglap-exclusive items. Here comes the wittily named Your Royal Ryeness Milkshake (S$9.50) that’s only fitting given the extensive use of their famous sourdough. This unique, creamy drink has a generous amount of cold brew syrup from Common Man Coffee Roasters. Fill your tummy up with the Egg Mayo and Smoked Salmon Pain Feuilleté (S$11.00). This is an upgrade to the classic egg mayo sandwich, relish this in a flaky bread with a smoked salmon spread and Tsukemono cucumber.

Spice lovers, you ought to check out the Curried Chicken Rillette and Mango-Chilli Sandwich (S$11.00). Think sesame soft buns with tangy mango chilli sauce, arugula, red onion pickles, piquillo peppers, and of course curried chicken rillette. For the creamier version of this, there is the Chicken Rillette and Tarragon Mustard Sandwich (S$11.00) which is a French rendition of the creamy chicken rillette.
