Taeyang to release new song with BTS' Jimin

6 Jan – Soon after leaving YG Entertainment to join Teddy Park's THE BLACKLABEL, it was revealed that R&B singer Taeyang will be releasing his first song next week with BTS' Jimin.

On 4 January, the agency posted a photo of Taeyang and Jimin on its official Instagram, and announced that their new song, called "Vibe" will be released on 13 January 2023.

This will be the first release from Taeyang since 2018, when he released the song "Louder" for 2018's PyeongChang Winter Olympics.

It was late last year that Taeyang confirmed he has signed with THE BLACKLABEL and leaving his long-time agency, YG Entertainment.

On the same day he announced his departure, his fellow BIGBANG member Daesung also revealed that he is joining the same company.
