Syura Badron slams critics: Why I won't take legal action after homestay gas blast incident
6 Dec - Syura Badron has recently slammed those who accused her of not defending her husband following admission that she has no intention to sue the owner of a homestay where the gas cylinder blast incident that caused her husband's injury occurred.
The 38-year-old singer, who addressed the issue on TikTok live, said that she was accused of trying to act "too nice" by not filing a lawsuit against them despite the fact that it was her husband's wishes for them to let the issue go.
"I would always ask my husband first before I make any decision. I asked him if he would want to take any legal action, but he said no. He told me he has accepted it to be his fate," she said.
Syura said that the owner of the homestay has also apologised for what had happened.
"It's unfair for us to point our fingers at them. I saw their effort in coming to the hospital and waiting for my husband to leave the emergency room just to apologise. It was an accident. It wasn't something that they intended to happen," she said.
It was back on 25 November that Syura revealed that her husband Farizat was rushed to the hospital after suffering burns from the gas cylinder explosion.
