Syada Amzah saddened over mum celebrating Eid sans husband
28 Apr – Syada Amzah recently expressed her sadness over seeing mother Fauziah Sarman celebrating Eid on her own, amid reports that dad ND Lala has married another.
On 26 April, Syada, who is also the sister of singer Shila Amzah, took to Instagram Story to lament about their Eid celebration, saying that while she enjoyed being with her mother, just the two of them on the first few days, she did feel sorry for her mum.
"She just watched as other people celebrated the day with their parents, husband, and children. It broke my heart. I had to take care not to let her hear sad Eid songs. Before she cried, I was the one who cried first," she wrote.
Syada said that the fact that Fauziah has also lost her parents made it much more difficult, though she was grateful that her mother's siblings came to visit.
At the same time, the singer said that they were able to have a more complete Eid on the fourth day when the rest of her siblings came home to be with the two of them.
Prior to Syada's post, a video went viral showing ND Lala visiting Kazar Saisi at home, prompting netizens to make fun of the two. It is noted that Kazar is the father of Ira Kazar, wife of Syamsul Yusof who was accused of wrecking the filmmaker's marriage with Puteri Sarah Liyana.
