Susan Tse saddened by Elliot Ngok's death

28 Oct – Hong Kong veteran actress Susan Tse admitted that she is shocked and saddened by the news of Elliot Ngok Wah's passing, just like everybody else.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who was seen in TVB City recently, shared that she recently sent Elliot a message after realising that their old drama, "Slow Boat Home" was on the rerun.

"He never replied to me. It was only yesterday that I received the news of his death. I initially thought it was just a rumour, but then a friend in Malaysia confirmed it," she said.

Susan said that she was reminiscing about the old days all night long, back when all of her old friends first met during their actor training days.

"Elliot achieved a great success in the industry, and made a lot of friends. There is no regret. I hope his wife and daughter will be okay. I am sure he wouldn't want his family to be sad," she said.

And just like everybody in TVB, Susan also praised the late actor for his professionalism and kindness.

"When we were filming "Rosy Business", he would always give it his best. Even when the camera was not pointed at him, he would stay in character. He was really passionate about his work. It is worth for the younger generation to learn," she said.

Elliot Ngok Wah recently passed away after experiencing kidney failure. He was 76.
