Sunshine Cruz, Cesar Montano reunite at daughter's party
29 Aug – Nearly ten years after they ended their marriage, Sunshine Cruz is happy to be able to give daughter Sam Cruz a great 18th birthday with their first family photo with ex-husband, Cesar Montano.
On 27 August, the actress shared a couple of photos from Sam's birthday bash, in which both she and Cesar could be seen together in one photo, surrounded by their three daughters with Sam right in the middle.
"In God's perfect time always. Happiest 18th birthday [Sam]," she wrote.
In another post, she expressed, "It was a fun-filled and memorable night for the family."
On the other hand, Sam shared with Star Magic that it was the first time her parents have seen each other again after so long, and that she was elated to see everybody getting along fine again.
Sam revealed that it was only early this year that she and her sisters were able to patch things up with Cesar. It is noted that Cesar also reunited with his son and Sam's half-brother, Diego Loyzaga in the same period.
Sunshine and Cesar ended their marriage back in 2013 after 13 years together following allegations of cheating and emotional abuse, with the marriage finally annulled in 2018.
