Sunny Chan wants to win Best Screenplay at HKFA

8 Mar – If there is an award that director Sunny Chan would like to win at the Hong Kong Film Awards, it would be Best Screenplay for "Men on the Dragon".

As reported on Mingpao, the director, who appeared at a forum held by the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, shared that winning the said category would be the most meaningful to him.

"It would be great, since it would be a recognition to my many years as a screenwriter," he said.

However, the filmmaker said that he will not think too much about it.

"As Anthony have [said], winning an award is fated, not something that can be pleaded. Being nominated is already a victory for me," he said.

When asked if there will be a sequel to the said movie, Sunny admitted he has plans to do so, but will finish the script first before confirming anything.

Aside from Best Screenwriter, Sunny is also nominated for Best Director, and Best New Director.
