Suki Waterhouse tops off her layered bouffant with a retro starry tiara
Suki Waterhouse may be most recognisable with her hair worn in loose, messy waves and choppy layers. But she just switched it up in her latest Instagram post, wearing a polished vintage hairstyle and we are, quite frankly, loving it.
The star dipped into several decades for the look, shaping her face with the ultimate 70s layers and curtain bangs, and leaning almost into the 60s with that bouffant at the back. The hairstyle was topped with a retro star tiara, and we can’t help but suspect her role in Daisy Jones and the Six is partly responsible for this homage to the 70s.
She amped up the retro look with a pale lilac and black asymmetric fluffy coat over a black bra, with what looks like ballet dancer-esque tights. With this eclectic feast for the eyes, it took us a seriously long time to see past blinking Suki and notice what the TV in the background was playing. A so-called Sparklemuffin spider?
The new mum may have only introduced her and Robert Pattinson’s baby to the world last month, but she’s already made a major return to the red carpet and is now planning ahead by announcing a US tour this autumn. In the post along with the pic, she writes: “❇️ THE SPARKLEMUFFIN TOUR ❇️ coming to a US city near you this fall. Couldn’t be more excited to get back on the road & see your beautiful faces!!”
