Stephen Wong is doing just fine after leaving TVB
11 Apr – Former TVB actor Stephen Wong recently assured that he is doing fine after leaving the company last year, 20 years since his debut.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who was seen at the promotional event of the new drama, "Speakers of Law" alongside Kenneth Ma and Rosina Lam among others, shared that TVB actually wanted to renew his contract prior to its expiry back in November last year.
"But at the time, I felt like I have already fulfilled my promise to my dad to become a leading actor. I also wanted to challenge myself. But my relationship with TVB is good. I am thankful that they gave me lots of opportunities," he said.
Stephen said that he is now a freelancing artiste, and will soon be flying to the north for more opportunities. He is also set to participate in the new TVB drama, "Sinister Beings 2".
As to whether he plans to have a baby with his wife, the actor said, "That's the problem. I have to work hard to earn more money because it costs a lot to raise children. I will absolutely announce it if there is any good news."
