Stephanie Ho announces Angelman Syndrome charity concert
7 Jun - A few days after opening up about her son's Angelman Syndrome diagnosis, Stephanie Ho announced on social media that they are holding a charity concert to raise awareness about the genetic disorder.
Sharing the news on social media, the singer and her husband Fred Cheng expressed that they want to do their part in helping the public deepen their understanding of Angelman Syndrome so that they can be more considerate of people from different walks of life.
"Thanks to the support of people from all walks of life, all proceeds from the tickets for this charity concert will be donated to the three recipients: Hong Kong Angelman Syndrome Foundation, F.A.S.T. and the Silver Lining Foundation," she said.
Performers who will be singing at the 7 July concert include William So, Alex Fong, Regen Cheung and JW.
Meanwhile, when asked about her son in a recent interview following the announcement, Stephanie was all smiles as she expressed, "My son is a gift from God. I am so happy every time I see him. There is no pressure at all."
