Sophia Albarakbah doesn't want to work with married men

11 Oct - After the previous controversy surrounding her and her leading man Aliff Aziz, Sophia Albarakbah stated that she would prefer not to partner up with a married man in future acting projects.

The actress, who spoke to the media at the launch of "Harimau Malaya: The Untold Journey", stated that she is tired of trying to not hurt anybody's feelings while also trying to do her job.

"I am not a homewrecker. Go get a dictionary and look at what that means," she said. "I love acting, but it's hard to avoid controversy. Whether you like it or not, you have to accept it."

She also denied allegations that she was provoking Bella Astillah by appearing at the recent "Gegar Vaganza" concert, where Aliff was performing.

Sophia stated that she was just accompanying her cousin Aisha Retno, who was invited as a performer.

"I was there to support Aisha. If I'm given another chance to go, I wouldn't mind going," she added.
