Siti Nurhaliza to release new album on 30 June

 

 

26 Jun –Siti Nurhaliza had fans jumping for joy by announcing that she is releasing her album at the end of the month.

On 24 June, the singer teased fans with the news of the upcoming album, titled "SITISM", writing, "Continuing the work, as she approaches her 28th year in the music industry with the 20th album."

"Please look forward to the release of Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza's new album, SITISM on 20 June on all digital platforms."

In another post, she explained the title of the album, writing, "Siti is derived from the name Siti Nurhaliza. The ism is a linguistic term used to form a name that symbolises quality, situation and ideology. Sitism or Siti-ism represents the special attributes, style, quality and voice of the singer Siti Nurhaliza."

The album will have 14 tracks, which will also include the song "Menjaga Cintamu", composed by Andi Rianto. The song is the theme song for the biopic, "Anwar: The Untold Story". Other songs include "Teratas" composed by Tomok and Rudy Nastia, another by Indonesian singer-songwriter Melly Goeslaw called "Menyapa Dirimu", as well as another collaboration with Luca Sickta titled "Tanpa Diri-Mu", written by Siti herself.

Siti's last album was "Legasi", which is a compilation of children's songs. Meanwhile, her last studio album was 2020's "ManifestaSITI2020"
