Barbie Hsu's NT$600M estate divided: Children's share under ex-husband Wang Xiaofei's care

4 Mar - It looks like Wang Xiaofei will be managing the inheritance of his two children with the late actress Barbie Hsu, following a recent meeting with the Hsu family to discuss matters following her passing.

It was reported that the late actress' NTD 600 million estates will be divided between her husband, South Korean DJ Koo Jun-yup and her two children, with Wang to manage the portion of their children's inheritance on their behalf until they turn 18.

However, it was reported that Wang has no plans to bring his two kids to Beijing and will give the Hsu family priority in everything.

Prior to the settlement, Barbie's mother Huang Chun-mei took to social media to write a cryptic post saying that she will "go on the battlefield" to restore justice, sparking speculations that there was a clash between the Hsu family and Barbie's ex-husband.

However, in a later interview, Huang seemed to have changed her mind, saying, "Let him take whatever he wants. I only want my daughter. It's good enough if he can bring up the kids well. I am old and no longer have the energy."

Barbie and Wang, who were together for 10 years before their divorce, had a daughter Wang Hsi-yueh, 11 and son Wang Hsi-lin, 9 together.
