Siti Nurhaliza has no qualms performing with AGT star Putri Ariani in the future

15 Jun – Siti Nurhaliza recently welcomed the idea of collaborating with Indonesia's blind teenage singer Putri Ariani, who recently made a splash when she got the Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell on "America's Got Talent" (AGT).

The Malaysian songstress originally shared a YouTube video, in which the 17-year-old was compared to her, and posted, "Masha-Allah, [Putri Ariani], continue to succeed and soar high. Make your parents and country proud. And always make sure to protect your religion and identity."

The message, however, was later reposted by the AGT contestant herself, who wrote, "Thank you [Siti Nurhaliza]. I love your songs very much. May we get to meet each other. I would love to have a duet with you."

Siti immediately responded after, writing, "If God wills it, my dear."

It is noted that Putri Ariani previously performed two songs during her audition; one a piano number that she composed herself, and the other was Elton John's "Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word", which was a request made by Cowell after he heard her original performance.
